Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German television and film actress famous for her performance in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her show business career early. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young when she was just 16. After her critically acclaimed role in the television movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, for the film Downfall. It received nominations for an Oscar and garnered critical praise. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are other Oscar nominated features featuring models. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable national and international projects over her career. The most notable of these include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historic mini-series Napoleon as well as other miniseries. Additionally, she was one of the members of both Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
